Ayurvedic Skincare Tips for Healthy and Glowing Skin

Balanced diet: your diet should be a mix of green leafy vegetables, vegetables with high water content, fruits, nuts, pulses, good fat like ghee and paneer.

Drink water: at least 8 glasses every day. Water helps the skin to get rid of toxins and help repair it from within.

Meditate: even if it's just 5 minutes a day, meditation generates positive energy in your body, helping your body to rejuvenate. 

Sleep well: your skin repairs itself while you take your beauty sleep, therefore, take at least 7 hours of sleep every night. 

Some ayurvedic beauty tips to try:

Fuller’s earth, honey & gram floor pack for glowing skin: combine 2 tsp of fuller's earth powder (Multani mitti), 1 tsp of milk or cream, 1 tsp of honey, 1 tsp of gram flour and 1 tsp of rose water to make a thick paste, apply on face and neck and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat try. Finish off with a good moisturizer afterward. Suitable for all skin types. Use twice a week.

Saffron milk for radiant skin: dip a few saffron strands in 1 tablespoon milk and leave it for 10 to 12 hours. Apply the saffron milk with a cotton swab on your face and neck and wash it off once it dries, or after 10 minutes. Apply this before going to bed every night. Finish off with your bedtime serum or moisturizer. Use daily. 

Rosewater for toning: rosewater keeps the skin free from extra oil and helps prevent problems like blackheads, whiteheads, acne, and pimples.
