Accept it or not, we tend to give at least one glance to the products claiming to make skin glow or flawless and often spend a lot of money on these products without a second thought. However, what many of us ignore as a fact is, healthy glowing skin has to do a lot more with our lifestyle habits than beauty products alone.
Here are the 5 ways to make your skin glowing without spending a dime-
Sleep well: Yes, we all love Netflix but remember it ain’t going anywhere. Your favorite show will very much be available the next day but the hours lost without sleep won’t come back. Remember, your skin repairs itself while you take your beauty sleep, therefore, take at least 7 hours of sleep every night.
Drink water: A dehydrated skin will not only look dull but will also attract acne and wrinkles. Water helps the skin to get rid of toxins and help repair it from within. Many people have seen a radiant glow on their skin by increasing their water intake. Hence, drinking at least 8 glasses of water every day will keep skin problems away.
Healthy diet: Try and cut down the intake of oily and spicy food. Include green leafy vegetables, proteins, and omega 3 fatty acids found in nuts and seeds to give your skin the nutrition it needs to get that glow. Oily foods not only add those extra kilos but also open doors for acne and pimples. Also cut down on sugar!
Minimal makeup: Try and reduce the amount of makeup you apply daily. Instead of applying multiple layers of skin-enhancing products, choose one product that does all the work. Makeup clogs pores and clogged pores attract bacteria causing blackheads, acne, and pimples.
Remove makeup before bed: This is one step that should not be missed at all. An entire day with makeup plus the city dirt and pollutants should be cleaned before you go to bed. Wearing makeup along with the dirt and pollutants on it will only make things worse. You should always sleep with a clean face to keep skin problems at bay
